Former council chairman in Ebonyi arraigned over alleged felony

The death of an Ezza man, Mr Joachim Nwode, following renewed communal violence in Effium, Ebonyi State, has led to the arraignment of a former Ohaukwu Local Government Area chairman, Chief Clement Odah. Odah was arraigned before a Magistrate’s Court in Abakaliki on two counts of conspiracy and felony over alleged inflammatory remarks said to have triggered the conflict.
