UKATA NEWS Offers 90-Day Free Publication to Mark Milestone
Ukata News, a Nigerian digital media platform committed to advancing truth and supporting sustainable national development, has announced a 90-day free publication opportunity for members of the public as part of activities marking its latest milestone.
The offer runs from 13 September to 12 December 2026.
The platform, formerly known as Bizministry Media, has been rebranded as Ukata News following an expansion of its editorial scope and coverage areas, with a renewed commitment to providing credible, timely and insightful journalism.
In a statement, the management of Ukata Media Consult and PR, the parent company of Ukata News, said the initiative was designed to deepen its relationship with the public and provide individuals, organisations and institutions with an opportunity to share news and information of public interest.
The management said news articles from any sector would be considered for free publication during the 90-day period, provided they meet the platform’s editorial standards.
Interested members of the public are expected to send their articles, one at a time, to ukatanews@gmail.com.
The management explained that Ukata News is a rebranding and expansion of Bizministry Media, with a broader editorial mandate aimed at using effective communication and responsible journalism to contribute to national development.
It said the name UKATA (ukatanews.com) represents United Alliances for Truth and Advancement, reflecting the platform’s commitment to truth, objective reporting and positive societal transformation.
According to the management, the platform brings together experienced journalists and media professionals covering different beats, united by a commitment to truth, fairness and responsible journalism.
It added that Ukata News would give priority to issues relating to the environment, energy and gas, business and economy, agriculture, culture, opinion and general news, with particular attention to issues affecting sustainable development, livelihoods and economic growth.
The management further explained that the name Ukata has cultural significance in Igboland, where it is associated with names such as Okoro, Okore and Okorie and is traditionally linked with attributes including strength, resilience and greatness.
Ukata News said its editorial mission goes beyond reporting events to providing context, asking important questions and helping audiences understand how policies and developments affect their lives.
The platform also pledged to uphold professional standards of accuracy, fairness, independence and accountability, including verification of information, the right of reply, transparent corrections and clear separation of editorial and commercial content.
It said artificial intelligence tools may be used to support selected editorial processes, but human judgment and appropriate verification would remain essential.
The management invited members of the public to submit news tips, story ideas, expert contributions, corrections and constructive feedback, while businesses, government agencies, development organisations and other institutions are also welcome to explore advertising, partnership and sponsorship opportunities.
