For many people travelling from different parts of Brazil and beyond, the two-day gathering in São Paulo is more than a church event. It is an opportunity to seek hope, healing and a fresh start amid the challenges of everyday life.

The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has taken its gospel and humanitarian outreach to Brazil, where its leader, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, is calling on residents to strengthen their faith and open their hearts to what they believe can be divine intervention in their lives.

Pastor Joshua arrived in São Paulo on Monday ahead of the two-day crusade scheduled for September 18 and 19, with the theme “Winds of Glory.”

The SCOAN leader, who had previously preached in Brazil, said the latest visit was an opportunity to reconnect with people and share a message of God’s love, faith and transformation.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Lagos on Thursday, she expressed appreciation for the warm reception she received and urged residents to prepare themselves spiritually for the gathering.

“The Lord Jesus Christ loves you all,” she said.

“God is concerned about your lives and is ready to reveal His presence in your respective circumstances. He wants to prove Himself again in your life. Keep your faith intact and make yourself available to Him and He will transform your life.”

Pastor Joshua said the message was coming against a backdrop of growing anticipation among residents and visitors who are expected to attend the crusade.

Declaring the “Winds of Glory” over São Paulo, she urged participants to come with faith and an openness to encounter God.

“The wind of glory is blowing already,” she said, describing the gathering as an opportunity for revival, healing, deliverance, love, faith and personal transformation.

Beyond the spiritual programme, SCOAN said the event would also include humanitarian activities, extending the church’s outreach to people who may need practical support.

The gathering is expected to draw participants from several Brazilian cities, including São Paulo, Osasco, Guarulhos, Campinas, São Bernardo do Campo, Santo André and Sorocaba.

Others are expected from Ribeirão Preto, São José dos Campos, São José do Rio Preto, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Espírito Santo and Bahia.

Participants from Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Bolivia and Honduras, as well as some African countries, are also expected to attend.

For local church leaders, the event presents an opportunity for Christians from different backgrounds to come together in faith.

Pastor Jonas of Osasco described the crusade as a significant moment for Brazil, while Pastor Joshua Eduardo of São Paulo expressed hope that the gathering would provide an opportunity for people to seek divine intervention in their circumstances.

Pastor Anderson from Rio de Janeiro also said he looked forward to witnessing what he described as manifestations of God’s glory during the gathering.

With expectations building ahead of the event, SCOAN encouraged people who cannot make it to the venue to participate through live broadcasts on Emmanuel TV and the church’s digital platforms.

For those travelling to São Paulo, the message from the organisers is simple: come with faith, hope and an open heart.
