The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the final list of candidates contesting the 2027 governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections across Nigeria, giving voters and other electoral stakeholders access to official information about those seeking elective offices in their states.
The list, contained in a statement signed by INEC Secretary, Mrs Rose Oriaran-Anthony, features governorship candidates and their running mates from 21 of the country’s 22 registered political parties.
It also provides details of candidates contesting for seats in the State Houses of Assembly, including their political party affiliations, ages, gender and educational qualifications.
